Job summary

Onbe is seeking a Senior Project Manager within its PMO to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives using Agile and PDLC methodologies. You will drive execution, manage resources and budgets, and influence outcomes across teams with strong business acumen.

The role requires 7+ years in project management, including 5 years of leading significant initiatives, and experience in payments is a plus. Base salary ranges from $103,000 to $125,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of project management experience, including at least 5 years leading initiatives of significant scope and impact.
• Experience in payments and disbursements is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives with broad impact, managing multiple competing priorities and adapting swiftly to emergent needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, gain buy-in, and lead through change.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas and strategic insights across all levels.
• High emotional intelligence and corporate maturity.
• Recognized as a subject matter expert in project management and function-specific technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to self-identify development opportunities, seek coaching, and apply feedback with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans aligned with strategic goals.
• Lead enterprise-wide Agile projects from concept to completion.
• Identify risks early and implement solutions with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration, including third-party vendors.
• Create and run communication plans for stakeholder engagement.
• Manage scope changes and assess downstream impacts.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback and coaching.
• Lead organizational change and align stakeholders.
• Apply Agile and PDLC knowledge using tools like Asana.
• Monitor progress, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Partner with senior leadership to foster strategic relationships.
• Champion use of technology to improve outcomes and mentor others.
