Job summary

The Plymouth Rock Company seeks a Strategic Marketing Analyst who blends marketing analytics with a product management mindset to solve business challenges. You will design and maintain reports, analyze complex issues, and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve agency performance and product competitiveness.

Based in New Jersey, you will liaise with Analytics, Field Marketing, Product, and IT to test ideas, study pricing and incentives, and implement changes to agent programs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• Insurance experience in product management or analytics.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to link multiple data sources and draw conclusions.
• Extensive SQL experience; Excel essential; SAS bonus.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist in KPI management and oversee projects to keep initiatives on track.
• Independently analyze quoting and selling trends across agents.
• Analyze agency compensation trends and link data sources for findings.
• Recommend changes to agent incentive and business plans.
• Use AI, design tools, and analyses to address state and agent issues.
• Coordinate between Analytics and Field Marketing and document findings.
• Study vendor options and apply quantitative analysis for decisions.
• Test and optimize quote flow using hypothesis-driven methods.
• Lead implementation strategy for rating/coverage changes and complex projects.
• Explore new vendors and approaches to strategic business issues.
• Monitor change impacts and present findings to upper management.
• Collaborate with Product and others to implement competitive enhancements.
