Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance seeks a Strategic Marketing Analyst to provide analytical and strategic support to the IA Channel Marketing Department. You will design, develop, and maintain reports, analyze complex issues, and deliver data-driven recommendations that improve agency performance and product competitiveness.

Responsibilities include KPI management, analyzing quoting trends, optimizing agent incentives, and collaborating with Analytics and Field Marketing to implement product enhancements

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a technical discipline.
• Insurance experience in product management.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical ability—linking multiple data sources and drawing sound conclusions.
• Extensive SQL query experience; Excel is a must; SAS and regression analysis a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall KPI management oversight with project discipline.
• Independently analyze quoting and selling trends across agents to identify issues and opportunities.
• Analyze agency compensation trends and link data sources to findings.
• Recommend and implement changes to agent incentive and business plans.
• Utilize AI and design tools to understand state and agent issues; present recommendations to upper management.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Field Marketing to coordinate activities and review documentation.
• Study vendor options and apply quantitative analysis to optimize questions, mappings, and defaults.
• Analyze vendor flow changes and propose Plymouth Rock responses for best outcomes.
• Develop and conduct testing to determine effective quote flows.
• Plan rollout for new rating/coverage changes across tools and data systems.
• Analyze new vendors and opportunities; seek innovative approaches to strategic issues.
• Monitor impacts of changes and troubleshoot data/report inconsistencies for leadership.
