Job summary

BFS Foods is seeking a General Manager to oversee all facets of store operations in coordination with the District Manager. The role emphasizes program execution, product implementation, and maximizing store efficiency, including inventory control, ordering, receiving, and sanitation.

The GM will lead a team, manage schedules, and ensure exceptional customer service while upholding BFS Foods standards and policies across all shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• Must have store operations experience and leadership responsibilities.
• Ability to recruit, train, and evaluate employees.
• Proficient in scheduling and labor cost management.
• Experience with inventory control and product ordering/receiving.
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall store operations with District Manager oversight.
• Implement programs, manage inventory, ordering, and receiving.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and adherence to GUEST program guidelines.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Schedule shifts and manage labor to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Manage merchandising, promotions, and pricing accuracy.
• Oversee sanitation, safety inspections, and compliance with standards.
• Monitor cash handling, banking, and POS procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain store standards.
