Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities. The role requires extensive experience in commercial refrigeration systems and EPA refrigerant handling certification.

You will utilize hand, digital, and power tools, follow safety procedures, and respond to emergencies while ensuring compliance with OSHA/EPA guidelines. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal)
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using tools to complete jobs
• Use work order system to manage and document repair activities
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete training to operate equipment safely
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations in Walmart safety policy and guidelines
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently
