Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to repair and maintain refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities. You will diagnose issues, use standard tools, follow safety and EPA guidelines, and support store teams with timely maintenance.

Minimum 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, digital and power tools.
• Receive and document repair work orders to support Stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues and ensure safe operation.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely and comply with policies.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines and perform work per safety/environmental rules.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights regularly.
