Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair and maintenance of refrigeration systems in our local stores. You will use commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to complete jobs and keep facilities running smoothly.

Requirements include 10 years in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance, large-scale rack refrigeration experience, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to manage repair Work Orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policy and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
