Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local store facilities team. You will oversee repair and maintenance of Refrigeration HVAC equipment, using commercial HVAC skills and various tools to complete jobs.

The role requires extensive experience in large-scale rack refrigeration, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and a valid driver's license. Compensation ranges from $56,160 to $106,080 annually, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus for select

Qualifications

10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean MVR.
18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using various tools.
Use work order system to manage and document repair activities.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, diagnose, and test facilities and equipment to identify issues.
Complete all required safety training to operate equipment safely.
Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policies.
