Walmart is hiring a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our local stores. You will support and oversee repair work on Refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial skills and various hand and power tools to complete jobs.

The role requires 10 years of HVAC maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver's license, and a HS diploma. You will work with the stores' teams and respond to emergencies, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, digital and power tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair work orders for stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training requirements to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights.
