Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC systems across local stores. You will utilize commercial HVAC skills and tools to complete jobs, guided by work orders and safety standards.

The role requires extensive refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights. Compensation includes a sign-on bonus at select locations and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or universal).
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using tools.
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support Stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for equipment and tools.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
