Job summary

Napa Auto Parts in Springfield, MA is seeking a delivery and dispatch lead to plan and manage local wholesale deliveries. You will coordinate a team of drivers and serve as the link between accounts, the store, and drivers to ensure top service levels.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years in the automotive retail sector, with strong leadership and communication. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• 1–2 years in the retail automotive service industry preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting with calm under pressure.
• Proactive attitude with strong communication and leadership.
• Analytical, problem solving, organizational and customer service skills.
• High sense of urgency and customer orientation.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and time-sensitive issues.
• Capable of recognizing part numbers and line codes for accurate delivery.
• Able to stand/walk for the shift and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assigns drivers to deliveries considering product, location, and time of day.
• Tracks progress of drivers along routes.
• Balances workloads, breaks, and customer needs when assigning drivers.
• Records drivers' in/out times for analysis and efficiency improvements.
• Receives and resolves customer requests or complaints.
• Acts as driver during peak delivery times when needed.
