Job summary

AWS Global Sales is seeking a Storage Specialist Solutions Architect to join our Startups and SMB team. You will act as the SME for AWS storage services, shaping storage strategy, and guiding customers through complex architectures to accelerate cloud adoption.

You will collaborate with field Solution Architects and product teams, develop reference architectures, white papers, and training materials, and help customers design cost-efficient, secure storage solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for our Account teams and customers.
• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy storage and data strategies.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best in class Go to Market concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
