Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Storage Specialist Solutions Architect to join the Global Financial Services (GFS) Specialist team. You will work with customers, introduce new technologies, and lead technical go-to-market initiatives.

You will surface customer insights to product teams and provide thought leadership to customers and partners. As SME for storage solutions, you’ll design sophisticated customer solutions, collaborate with field Solution Architects to enable large-scale

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
• Knowledge of cloud architecture
• Experience in compute and storage server architecture for large scale applications
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for account teams and customers
• Represent the voice of the customer; bring feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges
• Deploy storage and data strategies
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events
• Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best-in-class Go to Market concepts, solutions, and initiatives
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures
