Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Solutions Architect for our Storage team to serve as the SME in designing customer solutions. You will work with customers to enable large‑scale deployments and accelerate AWS service adoption, partnering with field Solution Architects to guide engagements and create white papers and reference architectures.

The role emphasizes security, cost‑efficiency, and a customer‑centric approach to cloud storage strategies across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
8+ years of experience across software, cloud, systems, security, networking, data & analytics.
Knowledge of cloud architecture.
Experience in technology/software sales, pre‑sales, or consulting.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise on AWS storage services for customers and field teams.
Represent the voice of the customer to influence product roadmap.
Unblock customers' biggest technical challenges with advanced knowledge.
Deploy storage and data strategies using AWS services.
Create and share field enablement materials and thought leadership content.
Collaborate with Sales Specialists to define Go to Market concepts.
Develop internal communities of technical SMEs worldwide.
Produce reference architectures, whitepapers, and presentations for customers.
