CoreWeave is seeking an experienced storage systems engineer to join the Object Storage Team in the US. You will design and implement distributed storage solutions that scale AI workloads, build exabyte-scale S3-compatible storage, and integrate dedicated storage clusters with RDMA and distributed filesystem protocols.
The role emphasizes reliability, observability, and collaboration with operations and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS, Engineering, or related field.
- 8–10+ years in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
- Hands-on with object storage or distributed filesystems in production.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed storage solutions for AI workloads.
- Develop exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and integrate storage clusters.
- Work with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, and distributed FS protocols (NFS/FUSE).
- Improve reliability, durability, security, and observability of the storage stack.
- Collaborate with operations to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve storage systems.
- Set metrics and dashboards to monitor storage performance and health.
- Analyze telemetry to drive throughput, latency, and resilience gains.
- Work cross-functionally with platform, product, and infra teams; mentor engineers.
