Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking an senior storage systems engineer to design and implement distributed storage for AI workloads. You will build exabyte-scale, S3‑compatible storage and integrate dedicated clusters across environments.

Proficiency in Go, C, or Rust and experience with Ceph/DAOS, NFS, and observability tools are essential. Expect collaboration with Kubernetes-based, cloud-native infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10+ years in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed storage solutions for AI workloads.
• Develop exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and integrate storage clusters.
• Work with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, NFS or FUSE to optimize performance.
• Improve reliability, durability, security, and observability of storage stack.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize storage systems in production.
