Modigent is seeking a Start Up Technician III to serve as a senior-level field leader in commissioning, startup, warranty service, and troubleshooting of complex HVAC and mechanical systems. You will independently handle challenging assignments, diagnose advanced issues, and mentor Technicians I and II while coordinating with trades, vendors, customers, and project managers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in startup, commissioning, warranty service, or related field.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required; valid driver's license.
• OSHA 30-hour certification encouraged (company support provided).
• Ability to perform physically demanding field work.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance to OSHA standards and site requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams to guide commissioning.
• Perform start-up, functional testing, and commissioning of complex equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls issues.
• Lead Start Up Technicians I and II and mentor on-site.
