Zusammenfassung

Modigent is seeking a Start Up Technician III to lead commissioning and warranty service for complex HVAC and mechanical systems. You will diagnose advanced issues, mentor Technicians I and II, and coordinate with trades, vendors, customers, and project stakeholders.

Safety and quality are non-negotiable in our people-first culture. In this senior field role, you’ll perform complete start-ups, functional tests, and document results, while ensuring compliance with EPA 608 guidelines and OSHA

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive experience in start-up, commissioning, warranty service, or related trades.
• High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational HVAC training or associate degree preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required; valid driver's license.
• OSHA 30-hour certification encouraged (company support provided).
• Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in demanding field conditions.
• Safety-sensitive role with extensive travel, on-site work, and overtime when needed.

Aufgaben

• Perform startup, functional testing, and commissioning of complex equipment and systems.
• Lead Start Up Technicians I and II in the field and provide hands-on training.
• Coordinate with other trades, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.
• Document start-up reports, warranty records, diagnostics, and time/material logs.
• Escalate complex issues to the Start Up & Warranty Manager for resolution.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job-site safety and cleanliness.
