Job summary

Performance Review Institute (PRI) seeks a Principal Engineer to provide general technical leadership in standards development and technical report creation. You will facilitate working groups, coordinate with SAE ITC and PRI teams, and support strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 6+ years in automotive or engineered systems, strong PM skills, and excellent communication. Occasional travel and collaboration across global teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, science, or business management.
• Master's degree in engineering, science, quality, finance, or business management (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills; analytical, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple assignments and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/engineering management expertise for standards and reports; facilitate working groups and forums.
• Develop statements of work and plans for standards & technical reports; coordinate industry responses.
• Plan and conduct meetings, prepare materials, and present results for industry coordination.
• Support conferences, marketing materials, and program communications.
• Identify process improvements and assist with strategic program planning and milestones.
