Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of stakeholder engagement or public affairs experience.
• 3+ years in energy industry supporting development, permitting or operation of large-load projects.
• Experience leading engagement with diverse communities across markets.
• Familiarity with permitting, land use and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement national stakeholder engagement strategy for AES' energy campuses and powered land.
• Lead engagement for renewable energy portfolios across multiple regions and projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, customers, developers and utilities on engagement strategies and timelines.
• Build and manage partnerships, monitor local sentiment, and adapt strategies as projects evolve.
• Ensure inclusive participation and nonpartisan, transparent engagement with communities.
