AES Corporation is seeking a Sr. Manager, Stakeholder Relations for the Central Region with a primary focus on Texas.

You will lead a regional team, shape community engagement for energy campuses, and serve as AES's local spokesperson, coordinating with governments, unions, and industry partners to advance responsible development. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in community engagement, advocacy, public relations or related field.
• Master's degree in PR, Communications, MBA or related field preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of related stakeholder engagement experience with leadership.
• Experience with advocacy, diverse communities, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional stakeholder engagement team, setting priorities and coaching for high performance.
• Develop local engagement plans for Central Region energy projects with emphasis on Texas.
• Advise project teams on community needs, relationships, and risk across projects.
• Build cross-functional alignment with Development, Permitting, Finance, Legal, Government Relations and Operations.
• Coordinate with customers, partners and local governments to align engagement strategies.
• Mobilize coalitions to demonstrate support for AES energy projects.
