Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of related stakeholder engagement experience.
• Experience leading teams and coaching staff.
• Experience with advocacy and engaging diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of stakeholder engagement professionals and set priorities.
• Develop and execute local engagement plans for Texas energy projects and campuses.
• Coordinate with internal teams across Development, Permitting, Execution, Finance, Legal and Government Relations.
• Manage engagement budgets and oversee consultants or agencies as needed.
• Represent AES professionally in public forums and with community stakeholders; travel 30–50%.
