Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager of Stakeholder Relations for the Central Region to lead engagement with communities, regulators and partners across energy campus and large-load infrastructure projects.

You will oversee development plans, conduct diligence, manage cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment with permitting, construction and operations timelines while advancing AES’s community benefits and inclusive engagement goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of stakeholder engagement, public affairs, or similar field.
• Minimum 3 years in energy industry supporting development, permitting, construction or operation of large-load infra.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement national stakeholder engagement strategies for energy campuses and powered land.
• Conduct community diligence for projects, assess sentiment, land use, and risks for site decisions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align engagement with milestones and schedules.
