Job summary

AES is seeking a Sr. Manager, Stakeholder Relations - Central Region to lead locally tailored engagement for energy infrastructure across the Central Region, with emphasis on Texas.

You will guide a regional team from prospecting through permitting, construction and operations, acting as AES’ representative to communities and partners. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of related work experience in stakeholder engagement or similar field.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple engagements across projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of stakeholder engagement professionals.
• Develop and execute local engagement plans for Central Region energy projects, especially Texas.
• Advise project teams on community needs, risks and engagement milestones.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align engagement activities.
• Build coalitions and mobilize support for AES energy projects.
• Maintain informed understanding of local political and regulatory landscapes.
