Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an senior software architect to lead platform design for a SaaS-based data security solution. You will drive Kubernetes, Kafka, and multi-tenant data models while guiding product teams on scalability and cloud-readiness.

You will mentor engineers, review designs, and produce RFCs and design docs. A strong background in Java/Spring and .NET is required, with deep experience in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with technical leadership.
• Hands-on Java (Spring) and C#/.NET experience.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/Entra ID and Windows on-premise.
• Production Kubernetes experience and multi-tenant SaaS familiarity.
• Strong architecture judgment and ability to review designs and code.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural decisions for teams; evaluate tech options and run POCs.
• Shape platform architecture: Kubernetes, Kafka, multi-tenant data models.
• Mentor engineers; raise engineering standards and review RFCs.
• Assess on-prem products and define migration to SaaS without disruption.
• Produce architecture artifacts and present trade-offs to leadership.
• Develop microservices in Java/Spring and .NET; follow API-first design.
• Turn recurring solutions into shared libraries and tooling.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools with security and maintainability.
