Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr DevOps Manager to lead a Platform Engineering team, balancing technical hands-on work with leadership. You will drive CI/CD, IaC, and cloud security across multi-account AWS environments, while coaching engineers.

The role is remote with eligibility in multiple US states; you'll partner with engineering, data platform, and IT to deliver secure, scalable platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on infra/DevOps or platform engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead capacity.
• Demonstrated working manager or tech lead experience balancing IC delivery with team leadership.
• Deep experience with Terraform modularization, state management, and multi-account patterns in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a DevOps team with performance management and career development.
• Own the team roadmap in partnership with Platform Engineering leadership.
• Drive CI/CD design and architecture for infrastructure automation using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on governance, security, and reliability.
• Lead incident reviews and improve platform resilience.
