Qualifications

• Production backend experience with Java and Spring.
• Strong design and implementation of microservices architectures.
• Solid SQL skills, data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data).
• Build and evolve microservices architecture, including service decomposition and API design.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries using SQL.
• Implement RESTful APIs and support integration with internal and external systems.
• Write clean, testable, production-quality code with unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues across distributed services.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, product to deliver features end to end.
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
