Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Platform and SRE teams, owning the technical foundation and reliability that scales our AI-focused infrastructure. You'll drive platform strategy, champion SRE practices, oversee Kubernetes clusters, IaC tooling, and developer experience, while ensuring security and compliance across cloud environments.

Qualifications
- Proven experience leading teams in the infrastructure and SRE domains.
- Deep expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform/Terragrunt, Crossplane).
- Strong understanding of observability and incident management.
- Balance platform stability with developer velocity.
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more Platform teams, fostering high performance and ownership.
- Set strategic direction for infrastructure and SRE, including Kubernetes clusters.
- Embed SRE, define SLOs/SLAs, improve observability and incident response.
- Own developer-facing platform with self-service tooling and roadmap.
- Ensure cloud security and compliance with SOC2/ISO-27001 standards.
