Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Architect to design the structure of our cloud platform, ensuring it is efficient, scalable, maintainable, and easy to operate for our developers.

You will drive stability, fault tolerance, and cost control while guiding architectural standards and best practices across teams. Remote or hybrid work options are available, with a focus on fast delivery and reliability.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer working with cloud SaaS products and systems handling large volumes of data.
Key tools include microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging systems.
Proactive mindset with a focus on reliability, cost control, and developer experience.
Excellent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Cloud Platform Design: design and improve the cloud structure for a scalable, multi-client data platform.
Stability & Fault Tolerance: build systems that recover automatically and stay up during production issues.
Developer-Focused: create APIs, templates, and tools to help developers ship features faster and with fewer errors.
Cloud Cost Control: monitor and optimize cloud usage and Kubernetes costs.
