The role emphasizes architecture, reliability, and mentorship, with broad influence over platform design and cross-team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or related field.
• 10+ years building and operating production systems.
• Expertise in backend, distributed systems, low-latency apps.
• Proven ability to lead multi-team technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction across membership growth, retention, and platform infra.
• Design large-scale distributed systems for lifecycle management and benefits.
• Coordinate with Eats, Rides, Grocery, Payments, Pricing, and more.
• Drive data-informed product engineering with instrumentation and OKRs.
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards across teams.
