Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Sr Staff Engineer to own end-to-end test architecture and strategy for next‑generation products. You will lead a multi‑disciplinary team of test hardware and software engineers, drive DFT/DFx reviews, and partner with silicon teams to optimize test coverage and throughput.

You will define KPIs, manage budgets, and mentor staff while ensuring robust test solutions from ICT to burn‑in across high‑volume platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in test development, FCT/ICT/SLT, or NPI test leadership in high‑density hardware.
• Strong DFT/DFx experience and boundary-scan expertise with PCIe/SerDes.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor multi‑disciplinary test teams.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor a team of Test Hardware and Software Engineers.
• Define test metrics, KPIs, and robust engineering career paths.
• Plan engineering bandwidth, CapEx budgets, and lab infrastructure.
• Lead DFT strategy reviews during schematic and layout stages.
• Collaborate with silicon partners to embed BIST and diagnostic hooks.
• Architect unified test specifications and optimize test coverage.
• Oversee ICT, FCT, SLT, and burn‑in test developments.
• Drive yield improvement through data analytics and fixture design.
