Cribl is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Security Products team, focusing on next‑generation AI SOC capabilities. You will architect post‑detection workflows, develop autonomous reasoning, and lead multi‑agent investigations in a remote‑first environment.

Based on 12+ years building scalable production software, you will leverage LLMs, vector databases, and dynamic tool calling to deliver secure, explainable outcomes. The role offers strong compensation and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience (Master's preferred).
• 12+ years of experience building scale production software.
• Experience leading AI SOC, SOAR, or post‑detection automation at scale.
• Deep experience with AI systems using LLM orchestration, vector databases, and tool calling.

Responsibilities

• Architect post‑detection workflows: autonomous triage, investigation, containment orchestration.
• Build production‑grade reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Ingest high‑fidelity detection signals and trigger automated investigations and responses.
• Explore agentic paradigms and multi‑agent architectures with rapid prototyping.
• Write core abstractions, design agent communication protocols, and set performance benchmarks.
• Ensure safe execution with transparent reasoning trails and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Collaborate with PMs, security researchers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into plans.
• Represent Cribl's AI SOC vision in architecture reviews and external discussions.
