Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Security Products team, focusing on post‑detection AI SOC capabilities. You will architect autonomous reasoning, multi‑agent investigations, contextual enrichment, and intelligent response orchestration for modern SOCs.

This is a fully remote role in a remote‑first company. You will work with Cribl Detect to ingest signals, leverage LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs, and drive safe, explainable workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or equivalent with 12+ years building scale production software.
• Experience leading AI SOC, SOAR, or post‑detection automation at scale.
• Experience deploying production AI systems using LLM orchestration and context graphs.

Responsibilities

• Architect post‑detection workflows: autonomous triage, agentic investigation, evidence synthesis, containment orchestration.
• Build production‑grade reasoning systems with LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Develop agentic paradigms and multi‑agent frameworks with prototypes.
• Write core abstractions and establish benchmarks for accuracy, latency, and reliability.
• Create safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human‑in‑the‑loop control.
• Partner with product, security researchers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into executable plans.
• Represent Cribl's AI SOC vision through architecture reviews and technical blogs.
• Stand‑by, on‑call, or off‑hours duties.
