Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Security Products team to design post‑detection AI SOC workflows and autonomous investigations. You will architect multi‑agent systems, integrate with Cribl Detect, and build scalable, low‑latency software for enterprise security operations.

You’ll lead complex initiatives, own architectural decisions, and ensure robust, explainable results. This remote‑first role requires strong leadership and deep experience in AI‑driven security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect post‑detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment.
• Build production‑grade reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Ingest detection signals with Cribl Detect and trigger investigations and responses.
• Explore agentic paradigms and multi‑agent frameworks with prototypes.
• Write core abstractions and establish model accuracy benchmarks.
• Build safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Collaborate with product managers and security researchers to translate ideas into plans.
• Lead engineering initiatives and represent Cribl's AI SOC vision externally.
• Handle stand‑by, on‑call, or off‑hours duties.
