Cribl in the United States is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Security Products team, focusing on post‑detection autonomous workflows and AI SOC capabilities. You will architect reasoning, agent frameworks, and response orchestration for SOCs operating at machine speed.

You will collaborate with Cribl Detect for high‑fidelity signals, ingest data, and build scalable, low‑latency systems with emphasis on security workflows, API design, and explainable outcomes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience; 12+ years building scale production software.
• Experience leading engineering initiatives and building AI SOC, SOAR, or post‑detection automation at scale.
• Deep experience deploying production‑grade AI systems with LLM orchestration, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures in enterprise software.
• Track record designing scalable, low‑latency distributed systems for asynchronous event processing.
• Strong understanding of security analyst workflows and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Robust API framework design for interfaces with third‑party security platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Architect post‑detection workflows including autonomous triage and investigations.
• Build production‑grade reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Explore multi‑agent paradigms and natural language SOC interfaces; validate concepts via prototypes.
• Write core abstractions and review critical code; set benchmarks for accuracy, latency, and reliability.
• Develop safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Partner with product managers and security researchers to translate ideas into executable plans.
• Represent Cribl's AI SOC vision through architecture reviews and technical blogs.
