Cribl, a remote-first B2B SaaS data observability company, is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Security Products team. The role focuses on building next-generation AI SOC capabilities, post-detection orchestration, and multi-agent investigation frameworks.

Expect ownership from architecture to production rollout, with on‑call duties. The ideal candidate has 12+ years building scale production software, strong AI/LLM orchestration expertise, and deep security workflow knowledge,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
• Master's degree preferred for senior leadership in AI SOC.
• Proven experience leading engineering initiatives and building AI SOC at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect post-detection workflows including autonomous triage and containment orchestration.
• Build production-grade AI reasoning systems using LLMs, embeddings, and context graphs.
• Collaborate with Cribl Detect to ingest signals and trigger investigations and responses.
• Design agent communication protocols and establish benchmarks for accuracy and latency.
• Develop safe execution frameworks with transparent reasoning trails and human-in-the-loop controls.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
