Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to lead the Staff Accounting team and own the preparation, review, and entry of financial documents for accurate P&L reporting. You will collaborate on financial reporting across systems and drive efficiency improvements.

You will supervise month-end close, reconcile ledgers, and assist with audits and intercompany activities, while coaching staff to strengthen accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Related Field.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Detail oriented.
• Self-starter.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and enter financial documents for accurate P&L creation.
• Review and improve processes and reports for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure accuracy of intercompany transfers and entries.
• Collaborate on financial reporting in new Finance Systems.
• Lead and train Staff Accounting team.
• Perform month-end close and journal entries as needed.
• Balance accounts and reconcile assigned ledgers across systems.
• Assist with audits and respond to information requests.
• Maintain documentation and retention of financial records.
• Support special projects and process improvements.
