Job summary

GoDaddy Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead reliability initiatives across the Commerce platform. You will own critical production systems, drive incident response, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available services.

The role emphasises automation, observability, and AI-assisted tooling to reduce toil and speed delivery, with opportunities for growth toward Staff and Principal levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating large-scale production systems in cloud environments.
• Strong AWS, Linux, Kubernetes expertise and infra‑as‑code practice.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and modern tooling.
• Track record leading incidents, RCA, and reliability improvements.
• Software/scripting in Python, Go or TypeScript; data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability and operational improvement across GoDaddy's Commerce platform.
• Own critical production systems and drive incident response and improvements.
• Design and enhance cloud infra, automation, observability, and deployment platforms.
• Partner with teams to solve complex reliability challenges and manage risk.
• Use AI-assisted tools and data insights to reduce toil and accelerate delivery.
• Mentor engineers and influence reliability practices across teams.
• Contribute to technical direction and improve systems and processes.
