Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Site Reliability Engineer within our Information Technology Group and Site Reliability Center. You will be based at one of our IT hubs and focus on stabilizing environments, enhancing performance, and ensuring reliable production systems.

You will design and maintain dashboards and monitoring, define SLAs/SLOs, participate in incident response, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to capacity planning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize environments and sites while driving engineering stability through analytics and metrics.
• Define, create and maintain dashboards and monitoring systems.
• Establish SLAs and SLOs for applications, sites and platforms.
• Lead in analyzing metrics to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
• Troubleshoot high-priority incidents and participate in blameless post-mortems.
• Mentor junior team members on infrastructure management and disaster recovery.
