Job summary

PNC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for its Site Reliability Center. The role anchors on-site work at its IT hubs, including Cleveland, with responsibilities spanning platform stability, monitoring, and capacity planning.

The candidate will implement robust dashboards, SLAs/SLOs, and participate in incident response, post-mortems, and continuous improvement across production systems.

Qualifications

• University degree; 3+ years relevant/direct experience.
• Certifications desirable; military service acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Strong problem solving and incident response mindset.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize environments and plan capacity across sites.
• Build dashboards/monitoring; define SLAs/SLOs for apps and platforms.
• Analyze metrics; troubleshoot incidents; participate in blameless post-mortems.
• Understand stack; optimize deployment, config, monitoring, availability.
• Lead testing, incident response, root-cause analysis; drive MTTR reduction.
• Mentor juniors in infra management and disaster recovery.
