Job summary

PNC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join its technology organization. The role is based in multiple locations including Pittsburgh, Denver, Cleveland, Birmingham or Phoenix, with a Sunday-Thursday 7AM-3:30PM EST shift.

Responsibilities include incident response, platform stability, and automation to improve operational efficiency. The position emphasizes engineering stability, dashboards, monitoring, DR testing, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• University degree required with 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
• Experience in infrastructure management and disaster recovery is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize environments and sites; assess opportunities to improve engineering stability.
• Define and implement dashboards and monitoring; establish SLAs/SLOs.
• Lead incident analysis, troubleshooting, and post-mortems to reduce MTTR.
• Understand deployment, configuration, and monitoring of services in production.
