Job summary

JPMorgan Chase, in partnership with Archer, seeks a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to shape the future of reliability for a globally recognized firm. As part of Corporate Technology, you will lead, mentor, and guide teams in design reviews and resilient architectures across major products.

You will drive incident response, scalability improvements, and operational readiness, leveraging AI-assisted workflows and strong observability practices to protect critical financial services platforms.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Proven expertise in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, toil reduction.
• Fluency in at least one language: Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with strong validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
• Strong observability knowledge including monitoring, SLOs/SLIs, and telemetry collection.
• Proficiency with CI/CD practices and tooling; containerization and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Champions site reliability culture and documents knowledge for the organization.
• Leads initiatives to improve reliability and stability through data-driven analysis and bottleneck resolution.
• Defines service level indicators and partners to establish SLOs and error budgets with customers.
• Uses AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis while handling sensitive data.
