Job summary

Axon seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for the APX SRE org in Boston. You will help build scalable, cloud-native Kubernetes platforms and tools powering mission-critical services, with a focus on reliability and developer experience.

The role requires 5+ years in platform engineering, cloud experience (Azure/AWS), and strong coding and IaC skills, in a hybrid onsite/remote environment with in-person collaboration Tue–Fri.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Platform engineering and container orchestration experience.
• Experience building platforms on cloud providers (Azure/AWS) and Kubernetes in production.
• Proficient in Python, Go, Java or C# and infrastructure as code tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build robust, scalable Kubernetes platforms and tools to empower engineering teams to provision and operate services quickly and securely.
• Exemplify cloud-native site reliability best practices and write maintainable, efficient code.
• Plan, scope and define work to meet deadlines with strong technical project management.
• Educate the organization on architectural patterns and provide thorough self-service documentation.
• Continuously improve platform reliability, operability, and cost efficiency.
