Releady is partnering with a leading healthcare technology company to hire a Principal Site Reliability Engineer. You will establish the SRE framework, set production standards, and lead the first full observability rollout across product codebases.

You will design a rotation model for engineers into SRE, fix root causes, and push for automated remediation and AI-assisted pull requests to improve resiliency across teams.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 14+ years without a degree.
• Demonstrated technical leadership for reliable production systems across multiple engineering teams, grounded in Google-style SRE principles.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, TypeScript, or Node.js, with a record of fixing root causes in application code.
• Hands-on experience with several observability tools, including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana, and the judgment to recommend best practices from experience.
• Experience with Terraform-based CI/CD and cloud infrastructure; Azure preferred, with AWS or GCP accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Establish the SRE framework, production standards, service-level objectives, and error budgets, and replace ITIL-style operational habits with engineering-driven reliability practices.
• Design the rotational model in which product engineers rotate into the SRE function, and grow it as new products launch.
• Lead full instrumentation of the first product, covering availability, throughput, performance, and quality metrics using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
