Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. seeks an experienced Senior SRE to own the availability of our CICD services and drive automation for platform infrastructure at scale. You will work across engineering teams, manage on-call, lead incident reviews, and guide capacity planning.

You will apply AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency, mentor junior engineers, and evaluate new technologies to shape the future of our internal developer platform. This role requires diverse SRE skills and a security-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working in large-scale production SRE or infrastructure environments.
• 3+ years of experience leveraging and integrating AI-assisted workflows to increase engineering efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another highly technical, scientific discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• On-premise and cloud CI/CD tools (Bazel, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), IaC provisioning (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Terraform), source code management (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab), and monitoring/observability platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes and data infrastructure (Cassandra, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, OpenSearch, Kafka, Redis/Valkey).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell; storage technologies (SAN, NAS, NFS, Object Storage).
• Security-first mindset; ability to balance short-term ops with long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Own the availability and health of key services within the CICD environment; maintain system health across the platform.
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications; drive automation for deployment and workflows.
• Carry on-call responsibility; lead incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Gather and analyze metrics for performance tuning and root cause analysis.
• Lead design reviews, production readiness, and capacity planning.
• Evaluate AI-assisted workflows and integrate them into team processes; mentor engineers.
• Investigate emerging technologies and provide roadmap-aligned recommendations.
• Build automated reporting on service health and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance on cross-domain projects to raise engineering standards.
• Partner with senior engineers to drive cross-team reliability improvements.
• Contribute to Embedded SRE model and strengthen partnerships with service teams.
