Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for the Technical Operations team to own the availability of key CICD services, build automation, and on‑call incident response. You will influence architecture, drive reliability across distributed platforms, and partner with engineering leaders to raise the bar on operational excellence.

Candidates should have 10+ years of large-scale SRE experience, AI-assisted workflow expertise, Kubernetes, and strong CI/CD tool knowledge.

Qualifications

• CJIS clearance eligibility (US citizenship or Green Card).
• 10+ years in large-scale production SRE or infrastructure.
• 3+ years of AI-assisted workflow integration experience.
• BS in computer science or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• CI/CD tooling: Bazel, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
• IaC provisioning: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Terraform.
• Monitoring/observability: Datadog, Grafana, Humio/LogScale, Honeycomb, New Relic, Prometheus, Splunk.
• Kubernetes expertise.
• Data infrastructure: Cassandra, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, OpenSearch, Kafka, Redis/Valkey.
• Scripting: Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell.
• Security-first mindset and ability to balance operations with long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Own the availability and health of key services within the CICD environment.
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and deployments.
• Carry on-call responsibility and drive incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Analyze metrics to support performance tuning and root cause analysis.
• Lead system design discussions, readiness reviews, and capacity planning.
• Evaluate AI-assisted workflows and integrate them into processes.
• Mentor engineers through reviews and retrospectives.
• Investigate emerging technologies and recommend roadmaps.
• Produce automated reporting on service health and compliance.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive cross-team reliability improvements.
• Contribute to Embedded SRE model and partnerships.
