Job summary

CrowdStrike's internal SRE team owns the automation, reliability, and observability of the internal developer platform used by thousands of engineers to build and deploy software at scale. You’ll own service health, drive automation, and participate in capacity planning while mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Eligible for CJIS clearance (US citizenship or GC).
• 10+ years in large-scale production SRE or infrastructure.
• 3+ years with AI-assisted workflows to boost efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, IaC, SCM and observability suites.

Responsibilities

• Own availability and health of services inside the CICD environment.
• Build software to manage platform infrastructure and automate deployments.
• On-call responsible; lead incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Analyze metrics for performance tuning and root cause analysis.
• Lead design reviews, readiness reviews and capacity planning.
• Evaluate AI-assisted workflows and integrate with team processes.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through reviews and retros.
• Investigate new technologies and align with roadmap goals.
• Automate reporting on service health and compliance.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to drive reliability improvements.
