Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is hiring for a Senior SRE role focused on reliability, automation, and AI-assisted workflows. You will own key services in the CICD environment, drive automation for deployments, and mentor engineers across time zones.

You will work with on-prem and cloud tooling, Kubernetes, data stores, and observability platforms to ensure scalable, resilient systems while collaborating with product and platform teams.

Qualifications

• Eligible for CJIS clearance (U.S. citizenship or green card).
• 10+ years in large-scale production SRE or infrastructure environments.
• 3+ years integrating AI-assisted workflows to boost engineering efficiency.
• On-premise and cloud CI/CD tooling experience (Bazel, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• IaC provisioning, config management, and monitoring/observability platforms experience.
• Experience deploying and scaling Kubernetes-based apps and data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own availability and health of key services in the CICD environment.
• Build software to manage platform infrastructure and automate deployments.
• Carry on-call responsibilities and perform blameless postmortems.
• Analyze system metrics to support performance tuning and RCAs.
• Lead design reviews, readiness assessments, and capacity planning.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and incident retrospectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to support roadmap goals.
• Develop automated reporting on service health and compliance.
• Provide guidance on projects beyond core ownership area.
• Partner with senior engineers to drive cross-team reliability improvements.
• Contribute to Embedded SRE model and cross-team collaboration.
