Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead our caring team and guide patients through speech and communication recovery. You will provide direct patient care, mentor staff, and collaborate with other departments in a supportive, outcome-driven environment.

This role requires current state licensure and CCC certification, CPR, and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required or preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum two years of speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding patient relationships.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Support speech language in-service education and student programs.
• Celebrate patient victories and contribute to rehabilitation goals.
