Encompass Health is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead patient care and coordinate therapy services within our inpatient rehabilitation setting in Wesley Chapel. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, assess communication disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans using advanced tools.

The role requires state licensure, CCC, CPR, and a minimum of two years of experience; mentoring staff, conducting in-services, and collaborating with other departments are key

Qualificações

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient’s physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
